Los Angeles, CA – The City of Los Angeles has selected Columbia Telecommunications Corporation (CTC) to conduct audits of the existing public and educational access facilities and operations in the city. The project will ensure that community interests and needs are taken into consideration in the provision of locally produced programming and information. Over the next several months, CTC will analyze and evaluate existing community outreach and promotion efforts, training of users, equipment and facilities in use, and documentation of usage and expressed community needs.
“CTC is pleased to assist Los Angeles as it examines public and educational access programming operations,” said Joanne S. Hovis, CTC’s President. “Los Angeles is a recognized leader in ensuring that the community is well represented and that opportunities for locally-produced and focused programming are available throughout the city.”
