CTC SELECTED TO SUPPORT NATIONAL MUNICIPAL ASSOCIATIONS
IN FCC WIRELESS BROADBAND PROCEEDING

Columbia Telecommunications Corporation (CTC) has prepared a report for the National League of Cities (NLC), the National
Association of Counties (NACo), the U.S. Conference of Mayors, and the National Association of Telecommunications Officers
and Advisors (NATOA) on technical issues in support of their comments to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the
D Block public safety broadband wireless proceeding.  The organizations filed their joint comments and CTC’s report with the FCC
on June 20.

The joint comments state, “Public safety agencies must have the option to make local and regional decisions and the ability to choose
the solution that best serves their unique requirements and budgets.”
